Welcome to vodhub. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the vodhub website (vodhub.net). By accessing or using the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the website.
1. Nature of the Service
vodhub is a personal project based in the United Kingdom. It acts as a lightweight, custom third-party viewing client designed to optimize the browsing and watching experience for Twitch live streams and VODs. We provide an alternative user interface and progress-tracking tools to improve the viewing experience.
2. Copyright and Content Disclaimer (DMCA)
vodhub does not host, store, or distribute any video files, live streams, or media on its own servers.
All video content played through vodhub is streamed directly from Twitch's APIs and content delivery networks. All video content, stream assets, and intellectual property remain the sole property of Twitch Interactive, Inc. and the respective content creators/broadcasters.
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content streamed through this viewing client infringes upon your copyrights, you must submit a formal DMCA takedown notice directly to Twitch, as vodhub has no control over the source files. Once content is removed from Twitch, it will automatically become unavailable on vodhub.
3. Affiliation
vodhub is an independent, unofficial personal project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Twitch Interactive, Inc. "Twitch", the Twitch logo, and all related trademarks are the property of Twitch Interactive, Inc.
4. Accounts and User Data
To use certain features like watch progress tracking, you must log in using your Twitch account. We do not have access to your Twitch password. By logging in, you agree that we may store your username, email, watch progress, and favorite channels as outlined in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke vodhub's access to your account at any time via your Twitch Connection settings.
5. Cookies and Analytics
vodhub uses essential cookies so you can stay logged in and so we can remember your language. Analytics cookies are optional. You can accept all cookies, keep essential cookies only, or choose analytics in the banner. If you allow analytics, we use PostHog (EU) to measure how the site is used (page views, page load speed, whether a page is still open, sign-ins, playback starts, Pro-feature prompts, and JavaScript errors). Details are in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
You can use vodhub without analytics cookies. We do not record your screen or session, and we do not use advertising trackers. You can change your cookie choice later from the Cookie Policy page.
6. vodhub Pro, Free Trial and Payments
vodhub is free to use. vodhub Pro is an optional paid monthly subscription that adds extra features. The current price is shown on your subscription page and at checkout before you pay. vodhub Pro is sold through Onelink, a Stripe service, which acts as the seller (merchant of record) and handles your payment, tax, receipts and invoices. Onelink's own terms apply to the payment, and we never see your full card details.
Free trial. Eligible new accounts can try vodhub Pro free for 31 days. Each account can have one free trial. You need to add a payment method to start it. When the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and you will be charged the monthly price unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically every month, and your saved payment method is charged each time, until you cancel. If the price changes, we will tell you before it applies to you.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time on your subscription page or through Onelink. If you cancel during a free trial you will not be charged. If you cancel during a paid month, you keep vodhub Pro until the end of that month and will not be charged again.
Your right to cancel. Where the law gives you a right to cancel, such as the 14-day period for UK and EU consumers buying online, that right applies to vodhub Pro. To use it, contact Onelink support or us.
Refunds. Refund requests go through Onelink support or us, and depend on the law and Onelink's refund policy. This does not affect your legal rights, including your rights if vodhub Pro is faulty or not as described.
7. Limitation of Liability
vodhub is a small personal project, and the platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, secure, or free from errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, vodhub and its creator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits or removes any rights you have by law that cannot be limited or removed.
